Dr. William T. Franz


Dr. William T. Franz is Professor of Physics at Randolph-Macon. A native of Philadelphia, PA, Franz received his Bachelor of Science degree in physics and mathematics from Muhlenberg College, and his Masters and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Delaware.

At Randolph-Macon, Dr. Franz teaches a variety of courses in physics and in the environmental studies program. Physics courses include

in addition to other traditional introductory and upper level courses.

Dr. Franz teaches a course in Alternate Energy Sources in the Environmental Studies program, and he is a member of the environmental studies council.
