Randolph-Macon to Travel to Mount Union For First-Round of NCAA Tournament

ODAC Champion Randolph-Macon will travel to No. 1 and nine time National Champion Mount Union in a first round game in the 2008 NCAA Division III Football Playoffs.  The game will be Saturday, Nov. 22 at noon at Mount Union Stadium in Alliance.  More information to follow.

ODAC Champs! 31-21 Win Over Hampden-Sydney Gives R-MC League Title and NCAA Berth

The Randolph-Macon College football team scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter as it rallied for a 31-21 victory over archrival Hampden-Sydney College Saturday afternoon in the 114th edition of "The Game." The win gives R-MC it ninth ODAC title all-time and its first since 1997. R-MC receives the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament next week.   The win also gives R-MC its first back-to-back winning seasons since 1996 and 1997.
