Voice Class

Welcome to the Voice Class Web site. This resource was designed to provide instructional materials in the anatomy, function, and health of the human voice. The program may be utilized by anyone, but will be particularly useful to instructors of choral and vocal music. The material is suitable for students of various ages, including middle school, high school, and college-level programs.

You are welcome to use any of the materials and quizzes. Instructors who wish to use the program can contact the Web site author at the email address below with questions, and to obtain additional instructor materials (tests, images, lesson plans, worksheets, etc.)

In this unit you will learn how your voice works. After learning to identify the body parts used in vocalization, you will learn how each of these parts functions. Once you have a good understanding of how your voice works, you will learn how to care for your voice, and what you should do to make it work properly.

Follow your teacher's instructions to complete each of the following units.

Unit 1: Vocal Anatomy

Unit 2: Vocal Function

Unit 3: Vocal Health
