  • Descends from the bottom of the larynx and divides into 2 bronchial tubes
  • Connects the larynx to the lungs

Bronchial Tubes

  • 2 tubes that stem from the trachea and further branch into increasingly smaller tubes
  • The smallest of the tubes open into tiny air sacs in the lungs
