Class and home work: Graphics Lab 2, web site review (handout) on h: drive - due Tuesday, 9/27 at class time, work on project 1. Completed by Friday: CSS labs and Graphics Lab 2.Week 2Reading:Taylor, complete reading of Chapter 4 and read Chapter 5. White, pp. 11-21.Assignments:Tuesday, for all the tags from pp. 42 and 55 and others discussed in class that you have not included in your two assigned web pages, create a web page which has a heading for each such tag and an example use of the tag below its heading. Complete Graphics Lab 1 and its tutorial. Thursday, complete the external stylesheet tutorial; use the material from Chapter 5 to enhance your initial web pages.Week 1Reading:Taylor, Chapters 2 and 3, Chapter 4, pp. 57-67. White, pp. 1-9.Assignments:Building web pages for a personal web site - for Tuesday, create a page about you (we will likely edit this page later) some possible data for the page is your name, nickname if you have one, campus and home address, interests (hobbies, favorite books or movies, ...), educational or personal goals; for Thursday, add a second page, this one will be about your family.
